AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Here at Landmark Baptist Church, we try and teach our youth the Word of God through the AWANA program. Through this program, every child has a special handbook designed for their age and class that includes missions activities, scripture memorization, and Christian service activities.
AWANA meets every Wednesday night at Landmark Baptist Church from 7 pm to 8:30pm for an opening ceremony, announcements, games, lessons, and handbook time.
There are four divisions in AWANA based on age -
- Puggles, ages 2 and 3
- Cubbies, ages 3 and 4
- Sparks, Kindergarten - 2nd grade
- T&T, 3rd grade - 6th grade
If you want to know more about each division, you can navigate the site through the menu on the left, or if you want to know more about helping the AWANA ministry at Landmark Baptist Church, you can contact Pastor Chuck Barber.
